Welcome to the New York Chapter of the International Association of Software Architects.

IASA is the premier association focused on the architecture profession through the advancement of best practices and education while delivering programs and services to IT architects of all levels around the world.  Established in 2002, IASA is an international non-profit business association dedicated to the advancement and sharing of issues related to software architecture in the enterprise, product, education and government sectors.

The New York chapter was established in 2004 for the purpose of providing monthly meetings, regional events and the necessary resources for IT architects of all level to be successful in their careers.  For any questions or concerns regarding IASA New York, please email the President of the New York Chapter, Bill Zack.

About the President








Bill Zack is a Consultant, Architect, Administrator, Developer, Systems Integrator and the author of several computer books and white papers, including the book "Windows 2000 and Mainframe Integration", the "Host Integration Server 2005 Reviewers Guide” and Enterprise Single Sign-On white papers featured on Microsoft's web site.

He is Co-Moderator of the New York City .NET Developers Group, the founder and past president of the New York Enterprise Windows User Group, and the founder and past president of several other computer user groups. He is also the Founder and President of the New York City chapter of the International Association of Software Architects (IASA) and a member of the IASA Board of Directors.

He is currently employed as an Architect  Evangelist with Microsoft, New York.
